E46 Coolant Drain Plug Washer

Hey guys in this video we will demonstrated how to drain the coolant antifreeze on bmw e46.

Is there anywhere else. Expansion tank cap oem 17111742231. I am aware that the radiator has a drain plug but that seems like it would only drain a portion of the system. I think there should be another plug or another trick b please help me if you have any idea or experince.

Place an empty three gallon bucket under the right side of your engine near the suspension sway bar. Some models might diffe. Expansion tank oem 17117573781. Upper radiator hose by rein 17127510952.

Allow the coolant to drain into the bucket. It is not the same. Pull out the clip that holds the expansion tank to the mounting plate. Remove the radiator drain plug and drain the coolant.

Working at the lower left side of your radiator remove the radiator and coolant expansion tank drain plugs green arrows. On my 325xi it would take a 18 inch extension with swivel socket.
